Calculators estimate. Buyers pay. Find out what your MSP is worth to a real one.
Free market valuation for MSP and MSSP owners at $5M+ in revenue, plus something no calculator can give you: a confidential answer from a funded buyer group actively acquiring businesses like yours. No listing. No fee to you on buy-side introductions; sell-side mandates are paid on success at closing.
You are never listed. Your information is never marketed. This is not an offer to purchase your business.
You already know how this usually goes.
A broker calls. He “has buyers lined up.” What he actually has is a listing agreement that pays him 6 to 12 percent of your life’s work, and a plan to email your business to a few hundred strangers. Maybe a competitor sees it. Maybe your best engineer does.
Or a private equity associate calls. Just him, no one else at the table. He does this every week. You’ve done it never. He knows the current multiples for a business exactly like yours, down to the half turn. You don’t. That gap is his entire business model.
So you delete the emails and let the calls go to voicemail. That’s not stubbornness. That’s a correct read of the incentives.
The problem was never selling. The problem is that no one in those conversations was ever paid to get you the highest number while keeping your name out of the market.
We built CT Acquisitions to be exactly that.
No fee to you on buy-side introductions; sell-side mandates are paid on success at closing. Paid on the size of the deal. Read that again.
CT Acquisitions is an M&A advisory firm working both sides of the table. Capital groups retain us to find businesses worth acquiring. Three things follow from that, and each one is the opposite of what you’ve experienced:
No fee to you on buy-side introductions; sell-side mandates are paid on success at closing.
No fee to you on buy-side introductions; sell-side mandates are paid on success at closing. Not 6 percent from you, not 12 percent, not a retainer. Zero.
Our fee scales with the transaction.
A bigger deal means a bigger fee. We have exactly one financial incentive: the highest defensible value that still closes. We cannot get paid by lowballing you, and we have no listing to win by flattering you.
Never listed. Never marketed. Never exposed.
There is no listing agreement and no CIM going out to 200 buyers. Your information goes to one counterparty, under confidentiality, and only if the fit is real.
One specific, funded buyer. A signed mandate. MSPs and MSSPs.
Right now, CT Acquisitions holds an active, signed mandate from a well-capitalized group that is acquiring and strategically partnering with US-based managed service providers and managed security providers.
This is not a database-building exercise and not a fishing expedition. The mandate has defined criteria, committed capital, and a timeline. If your business fits, we’ll tell you exactly how and walk you through what the group looks for. If it doesn’t fit, we’ll tell you that too, and the valuation tools below are yours regardless.
Here’s why this matters more than any calculator on the internet, including ours: a market range tells you what businesses like yours have sold for. Only a buyer can tell you what your business is worth. We represent one, and finding out costs you fifteen minutes and nothing else.
Your market range. Two minutes. No email required to see it.
Most online valuation calculators are teasers. They spit out a flattering number to harvest your email, and every owner who’s used one knows it. This one is built from published 2026 transaction data, and it shows a range you could defend in a real negotiation.
One honest caveat before you start, and it’s the most important sentence on this page: this range is what the market has paid for businesses like yours. What YOUR business is worth is whatever a real buyer, looking at your real numbers, is willing to pay. A calculator can get you to the right neighborhood. Only a buyer can name the house.
Ranges reflect published 2025 to 2026 lower middle market MSP and MSSP transaction data (GF Data, Service Leadership, Aventis Advisors, Drake Star, Solganick, and CT Acquisitions research). This is a market estimate, not an appraisal and not an offer.
Optional: email me these results plus the 2026 MSP Valuation Guide. Your number is already on screen. This just saves it.
The math buyers hope you never run.
A short, dense PDF that makes you smarter than 95 percent of sellers before you ever take a call with anyone. Including us.
- Real ranges by EBITDA tier. What businesses at $500K, $1M, $2M, and $5M+ adjusted EBITDA actually cleared in 2025 to 2026, sourced and cited.
- The same MSP, priced by three different buyers. A strategic acquirer, a PE platform, and an individual buyer will hand the identical business three materially different offers. See why.
- Why a 6.0x offer can pay you less than a 4.5x offer. Earnouts, escrows, seller notes, and working capital pegs move more real money than the headline multiple. Read this section twice.
- The 10-driver scorecard. The exact factors buyers use to place you inside the range. Score yourself in 10 minutes.
- The exit-prep checklist. What to fix 12 to 24 months out so you enter any conversation at the top of your band.
From this page to a real answer, in four steps.
Run your market estimate.
Use the calculator, grab the guide, or both. No commitment, no listing, nothing signed.
Book a confidential 15-minute call.
We’ll walk through your range, the drivers behind it, and which buyer types fit a business like yours.
Hear what your business is worth to a real buyer.
If you fit the mandate, we’ll tell you exactly how the group values businesses like yours and how the process would work. If you don’t fit, we’ll say so, and you keep everything.
You decide. From information, not pressure.
Move forward, fix two drivers and revisit in a year, or simply know your number. All three are wins.
The three things every owner asks us.
No fee to you on buy-side introductions; sell-side mandates are paid on success at closing. Why would you fight for my price?”
Because of how the fee is built. It’s a percentage of the transaction size, paid at close. When you sell for more, we earn more. A lowball deal literally cuts our own fee. Compare that to a listing broker, who gets paid by you regardless of whether the price was the best you could have gotten. We’re not asking you to trust our character. We’re showing you our incentives.
“Is this actually confidential, or is that what everyone says?”
There is no listing agreement, so there is nothing to market. Your business is never put in front of a buyer pool. Information moves to one counterparty, under confidentiality, only after you’ve said yes to that step. Until then, you can use the calculator without entering an email and read the guide without talking to anyone. You control every escalation.
“Wouldn’t I get more money running a full competitive process?”
Sometimes, yes, and if that’s true for your business, we’ll tell you on the call. A competitive process can add turns, and it also costs 6 to 12 percent in fees, 6 to 9 months of your attention, and broad exposure of your business. A fitting mandate trades some of that theoretical top tick for zero fees, one confidential counterparty, and speed. Which trade is right depends on your number, your timeline, and your risk tolerance. That’s precisely what the fifteen minutes is for.
A calculator gave you an estimate. A buyer gives you a number.
Fifteen confidential minutes. You’ll leave knowing your realistic range, the buyer types that fit your business, and what the funded group we represent would likely pay for a business like yours. That last one is the number no page on the internet can show you.
No fee to you on buy-side introductions; sell-side mandates are paid on success at closing. You sign nothing. You are never listed.
