Download the Buy-Side Agreement

This is the standard buy-side agreement required to request an introduction to any deal in our pipeline. Each agreement is deal-specific and covers one introduction. Download it, fill in the deal details, sign, and email the signed agreement to info@ctacquisitions.com along with the Deal ID you want introduced to.

At a glance

  • Fee: 2% flat of Transaction Value, payable at close. No fee if you don’t close.
  • Tail: 12 months after the agreement expires or terminates.
  • Scope: One deal per agreement. Sign separately for each deal you want introduced to.
  • Term: 12 months or until either party gives 30 days written notice, whichever is earlier.
  • Governing law: Delaware.

After you sign

  1. Fill in the Deal Information section using the Deal ID from our pipeline.
  2. Fill in your Buyer Information section.
  3. Sign electronically (DocuSign, Adobe Reader, Preview on Mac, or similar) or print/sign/scan.
  4. Email the signed agreement to info@ctacquisitions.com with the Deal ID in the subject line.
  5. We countersign within 24 to 48 hours and send you the full deal package including the owner’s contact information.

Questions before you sign

Most buyers sign the agreement as-is because it is intentionally short, plain language, and weighted at market-standard terms. If you have a specific question about a provision, email chris@ctacquisitions.com and we will walk through it directly.

If your attorney needs to review before signing, that is fine. Material redlines will extend the intro timeline because each modified clause requires our review. The clauses most often discussed are the Transaction Value definition (Section 3) and the Tail Period (Section 5). Both are at industry-standard language for buy-side finder agreements.
